Galapagos | We were not sent from heaven, we are in it.

They say “The beauty of the Galapagos can’t be explained. Only Experienced”. It’s the living laboratory of evolution. I was never been more fascinated learning evidence of evolution. Visiting Galapagos was not on my bucket list, I literary carried a separate bucket for it. It wasn’t a destination for me. I dreamed to touch something that has changed our understanding of who we are.....forever.
It all came true in November, 2018. We have completed an itinerary from mainland Ecuador to Galapagos, 4 days small cruise took us to islands of Galapagos.

Evolution : Why it's so important
Ask yourself, do you want to live a life not knowing where you came from, where do you fit within this planet, among all other living things. If you are believer of eternal life, why bother traveling now. Work hard on heaven where you will have eternity to enjoy and explore anything and everything you have been missing.
On the other hand If you simply understand the structure of an atom, you know you are empty. 99.99..% of you is VOID-Nothing. You, I and all others will end into nothingness, death.

LIFE on planet earth is a mystery, may remain as miracle for us. This place, Islands of Galapagos is so unique, so different from ordinary LIFE, it’s a world of it’s own. Before us, billions and countless people lived and died, one man seen things differently and that changed our understanding of who we are, where we came from.

CHARLES DARWIN, perhaps the most brilliant mind of entire mankind. All species share a common ancestor. Since Darwin, about 150 years fast forward, we now know evolution is a scientific fact with millions of evidence in front of our eyes. It is truly the greatest show on earth on stage for about 4 billion years. Our stories are more magical and magnificent than ever imagined, all living things are connected.

If you still think evolution is far from fact, it's for no other reason but easy for you to understand creation. Creation, where absence of evidence is the key, not asking question or doubt is the ignorance.

Evolution is fact. All work has been completed, it took 150+ years from Darwin to modern science. It may be hard, but look into Ecology, Paleontology, Biodiversity, Embryology, Anatomy, DNA, Genome and the list goes on. Nevertheless, there will be sons of Adam hope they were made under a special project.

Galapagos, our understanding of us has changed forever from here. Darwin, him alone buried god(s) in Galapagos.

Our Journey to Galapagos:
All flights to Galapagos must to go thru Ecuador main land (Quito or Guayaquil). After immigration, a mandatory registration is required to visit Galapagos (cost $20). From Ecuador mainland, next stop is Baltra Island (only commentarial airport in Galapagos). Here you would need to pay $100 national park fees. Baltra island is not habitable, from here you take a short bus ride followed by canal boat to arrive Santa Cruz. We stayed in Santa Cruz for two nights in Airbnb, explored the island and giant tortoises.

From Santa Cruz, we were in a 4 days cruise to explore 4 more islands of Galapagos. Planning ahead is very important, we booked our cruise 3 months earlier, fully paid in advance, cost $3200 for two and all inclusive. Most of the cruises have to be booked via travel agencies. We used GreenGo.com.

Our cruise was on a small boat/catamaran that hosts 16 guests in 8 separate cabins, 9 crew members and a guide. There are different categories when it comes selecting a cruise. Our’s is Archipell (http://www.catamaranarchipel.com), considered a 4 star cruise and we were happy to have exceptional service, food, on/off shore excursions. Although it was a small boat with 16 guests, this may be the best way to explore Galapagos Islands, downside is the rough sea rolling at night when they sail. For those who have seasickness, Galapagos would be a tough place to visit. We struggled, scared, physically challenged, but without a doubt we were exploring another world in the pacific.

Visited Places

Santa Cruz: A walk among giants, the longest living land animal

Seymour Island: My LIFE is better not because I came from heaven or dream to return, but I am part of everything.

Bartolome Island: One of the smallest, youngest, but most iconic island of Galapagos.

Genovesa Island: This is bird’s paradise of course with no predators around.

Darwin Bay: Evolution, our understanding of us began here.

On our way back HOME, we spent two nights in Ecuador mainland, Guayaquil. Stayed in a hotel for two nights.

Quotes

Sir David Attenborough: It's like saying that two and two equals four, but if you wish to believe it, it could also be five... Evolution is not a theory; it is a fact, every bit as much as the historical fact that William the Conqueror landed in 1066.

Professor Richard Dawkins: Today the theory of evolution is about as much open to doubt as the theory that the earth goes round the sun. Evolution is just a theory? Well, so is gravity and I don't see you jumping out of buildings. It is absolutely safe to say that if you meet somebody who claims not to believe in evolution, that person is ignorant, stupid or insane.
